FALL FORAGE IN EXCESS

Truth be told, I do not need anymore garlic chive plants, but I just can’t bring myself to interrupt their lifecycle because the pollinators love chive flowers so much🤗 Check out the video clip below of pollinator foraging in action.

Foraging in action🤩

These chive flowers self-seed the area and create over-crowding in the garden the following year. However, knowing that I’m providing a much loved Fall forage makes the repeat work required to manage chive crowding absolutely worth it.

Your chive plants look great! Hope mine can look half as good this winter🫣
