Some might look at my little potato harvest with a disappointed side eye😒.

For me, this harvest is proof that it doesn’t take much to grow my own groceries. I tossed two store-bought Russet potatoes into a seven gallon grow bag on my patio a few months ago and continually topped off the bag with fallen leaves. It required almost no effort on my part! This one bag of potatoes won’t be the source of multiple meals, but I’ll combine this handful of potatoes with some other farm goodies for a scrumptious feast.

Growing your own groceries doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. If you’re not already, I hope this encourages you to GROW WHAT YOU CAN WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.
