NATURE’S NOODLES

Last year, I was introduced to spaghetti squash by my favorite local farmers. I’d never even heard of it before, but soon learned that I had really been missing out. It was so yummy! I knew I wanted to try to grow it, so I saved the seeds from the gourd I ate and planted them in early-Summer. I had no clue of the seeds’ viability, but was pleasantly surprised by how easily they germinated. The plants were incredibly low-maintenance and fast-growing. I was so happy to discover that spaghetti squash plants are also very productive!

My 1st spaghetti squash harvest🙌🏾

I harvested my first spaghetti squashes this season🥹 I’m probably biased, but these ones I grew were even more delicious than the one I ate last year. Who needs to eat processed noodles when nature provides⁉️ Check out nature’s noodles in the video below.

This harvest also brought HUNDREDS of seeds to sow for many seasons to come. My new spaghetti squash seeds have been cleaned, dried, and added to my seed bank. This feels like true wealth to me🤲🏾!
