The world outside my farm bubble has seemed to be a whirlwind of chaos, cruelty, and corruption. It’s hard to watch and even harder to feel😮‍💨. (Where my empaths at?!) I stay inside my bubble as much as possible, but whenever I must venture out, I try to make it a little better out there.

History has taught me that the oppressor wants us to be distracted and distraught. Nope. Tune out the noise! Dr. King told us that our most powerful weapon is organizing. Organize is what I will continue to do – in all the ways in which I feel led. In my lived experience, that often involves taking on assignments I wasn’t, necessarily, planning to do – like stewarding another piece of land – but I’m always provided with what I need to accomplish my mission🤲🏾.

We must return to the land and the ways of the ancestors. By any means necessary. It’s imperative that you GROW SOMETHING wherever you are. This is a huge part of the solution and will position you to be more independent and, therefore, less dependent on the ups and downs of these systems. I’m not simply suggesting you sow some seeds. I’m imploring you to SOW YOUR SOVEREIGNTY✊🏾.
