CAN’T EAT IT, BUT IT’S BENEFICIAL

When my sis at Mahaba Farms gifted me lavender plants, she opened with the disclaimer – “Sorry. They’re not the edible variety.” NO PROBLEM! These Plectranthus Mona Lavender plants (aka “Lavender Spur Flower”) aren’t edible, but they are beautiful magnets for pollinators like hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees; repellents for mosquitos; and their leaves will be a wonderfully calming addition to my bee smoker (I only burn natural materials). I’m excited to waft my hives with this aromatic smoke during my next inspection. Added bonus – it’s a lovely ornamental plant with dark green fuzzy foliage that’s rich purple when turned over😍.

Great news! I’ve got [14] Mona Lavender live plant starts to share ($5 each). If you’d like to add these stunning, shade-loving plants to your landscape, email me🙂.

Local pickups available in Atlanta and Montgomery.
