When Plants For Everyone sent a late night announcement that all of their unsold plants would be 50% off the next day, what choice did I have really?! I woke up early morning, got myself together, and hit the road. It took me a little over three hours of gorgeous scenery to reach Asheville, North Carolina for plantpalooza🤪.

I dove in head first sorting through seemingly endless crates of bare root plants covered in damp wheat straw and ended up with one full crate plus a small pail full of plants.

It sure didn’t look like much, but when I got to checkout, I learned that I had gathered [36] plants. Once I got them home and began to pot each of my new plants, it definitely felt like [36] plants then😅.

I’m really proud of my haul and excited to have added so many more perennial foods to the collection. I love saving money while spoiling myself with future food! It’s a good thing I STAY READY for a roadtrip🤭.
