I saw the foreign snowflake icon on the 10-day forecast weather app and assumed it was an update glitch or something because it doesn’t snow in Montgomery, Alabama. As the days passed, that strange icon was still showing in the forecast. Media coverage of an incoming “rare winter storm” burst my bubble and forced me to prepare for SNOW🥴 I’ve heard of it, but am not at all familiar since I live in the South. Anyway, once the shock subsided, I got to work preparing, as best I could, for the possibility of the unexpected. Much to my surprise, it actually DID snow in Montgomery, Alabama😱.

It’s still too soon to tell how everything on the farm will recover, but I’m fiercely rooting for the resilence of nature.
