Last Summer, when I decided we were going to devote a large growing space for up to nine months trying to grow nearly 300 bulbs of garlic, I wasn’t sure if I was stupid or crazy.

With our first garlic harvest now behind me, I can say with certainty that I may be crazy, but I’m definitely not stupid. I’ve grown enough garlic for our family to consume all year. I’m so grateful for what the land provided! I can’t imagine not growing garlic every year. I’ll be saving our biggest cloves to use as seeds to plant this Fall in hopes of another abundant harvest next year.
