YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH MINT

I’m pretty sure my addiction to mint began while living in North Africa – where mint was in, on, and around everything I consumed everyday, all day. This was glorious, but it was never my intention to establish a mint farm. But, yeah. It’s happening.

This list may seem EXTRA long, but it actually only includes my mint – not all members of the expansive mint family that I’m currently growing. This plant family (known as Lamiaceae [LAY-mee-AY-see-ee]) also includes widely used culinary herbs like rosemary, basil, sage, oregano, hyssop, thyme, and lavender as well as medicinal herbs such as catnip, salvia, bee balm, and motherwort – all of which I’ve grown from seed and have planted throughout the farm.

Most of my mint plants are still really small, so I’m focused on growing bigger/stronger plants for Summer survival and fervent plant propagation. I want to be able to establish patches for each mint variety while continuing to hone my Lamiaceae growing skills. I meeeean…who knows what other mints are out there looking for a new place to grow. I gotta stay ready. LOL!

  1. So many options, I guess you can say mint was meant for you lol. Glad you have been blessed with a green thumb for mint.

Can’t wait to try every variety of mint!
