Our garlic bed has been planted out for about 3 months now and it’s looking good.

The wild things have, thankfully, stopped digging in the bed. Some of the plants are almost up to my knees, in height, which is surely a good sign of strong bulb growth underground.

Now that the plants have more growth, I can tell the difference between the elephant garlic (pictured above on the left) and regular garlic (pictured above on the right).

Garlic likes cold temperatures, but I’m not sure if the dips are gonna be TOO cold for them. I added an extra thick layer of leaf mulch for insulation against the unusual arctic cold. Hopefully it supports their survival. #iLOVEgarlic
